Purpose
The Tucker Explorer Club aims to ignite a passion for the outdoors and foster a sense of community among local citizens. By facilitating access to a diverse range of outdoor activities, we strive to encourage exploration and appreciation of Georgia’s stunning natural landscapes. Our program is designed for individuals who enjoy outdoor activities or are eager to explore them.
Our primary objectives are to:
Connect members with nature
Build a supportive community of outdoor enthusiasts
Provide opportunities for regular exploration
Frequency and Scheduling
Events::
Field Trip: A more extensive adventure, often requiring travel. Initially, this will include hikes that are farther from
Tucker.
Local Trip: A closer-to-home event, focusing on accessible outdoor experiences in or near Tucker.
Events: Participants will register online for specific events. Any associated fees will be added to Rec Desk
during registration.
Wild Walks: Slower paced walks that are in local Tucker Parks
Registration and Membership
Membership: Free of charge. All members must complete and sign waiver forms prior to participating in any event.
